Muzinich & Co. has appointed Sean Walter as head of Regional Wealth to build its presence in the UK market among UK advisers and their clients.
Walter joins the global credit specialist from Aberdeen, where he most recently served as director of Business Development, covering discretionary managers and fund selectors across Scotland, the North of England and the Midlands.
His focus will be in supporting UK wealth managers and advisers, who may be looking for solutions in the evolving market environment.
Hugo Wheeler, managing director, country manager – UK and Ireland, commented that Walter’s understanding of the UK wealth market and record of building relationships with advisers “will be instrumental as we further enhance our solutions-led offering”. The appointment, he said, reflected continued investment in delivering credit expertise and tailored solutions to wealth managers across the UK.
Muzinich & Co. is a privately-owned, global institutional asset manager specialising in corporate credit across both public and private markets, with AUM of some $43.3bn globally as of end January 2025 figures. Its strategies include sponsored and non-sponsored direct lending, capital solutions, parallel lending and aviation finance. It is growing its US private debt platform.
