Law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of Samir Bensaker as a partner in its securitisation and structured finance practice, to support growth in its European securitisation practice.
Bensaker (pictured), who is dual-qualified in France and England & Wales, joins Norton Rose Fulbright from Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he developed a practice focused on securitisation and related structured finance transactions, primarily in connection with the French market.
He has worked across traditional securitisation transactions, credit portfolio sales and acquisitions and risk transfer transactions, as well as regulatory advice under key frameworks such as the EU Securitisation Regulation, the NPL Directive and the CRR. He has advised on asset classes including trade receivables, consumer and SME loans, residential mortgages, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
