Netherlands-based asset manager Robeco has launched a global multi-thematic strategy which offers, according to a press statement, a “turnkey solution” to investors long-term returns from megatrends.
The strategy is a global equity portfolio that aims to capture and amplify upside potential while mitigating downside risk.
It will target three trends: transforming technologies, socio-demographics and “preserving Earth”.
The strategy will be led by portfolio managers Dora Buckulikova, Marco van Lent and Steef Bergakker assisted by two investment analysts.
Ralf Oberbannscheidt, head of thematic investing at Robeco, said: “Our choice of these trends reflects our belief in the significant economic value of addressing inefficiencies, inequalities, and imbalances in business, society, and the environment.
“This value is often underappreciated by broader markets. We’re now able to offer our clients the possibility to invest in three secular trends and 13 innovative thematic strategies through one single strategy.”
