65 Equity Partners has appointed Pascal Heberling as co-head of Europe and Leon Brujis as head of the East Coast to expand its presence in Europe and the US.
The two private equity experts have joined the investment firm, which provides partnership capital solutions to family-owned and founder-led companies, as partners.
Based in London, Heberling will work alongside fellow co-head Alex Stirling to oversee the investment firm’s European activities. Pascal joined the company after a 20-year career in private equity, including roles as a Partner at BC Partners, head of healthcare at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and a Partner at Cinven.
Brujis, based in New York, will work alongside US head Alexander Fraser to grow the firm’s US operations. He has nearly 20 years of investment experience and was most recently a partner and part of the management team at Palladium Equity Partners, where he managed investments in the services and consumer sectors.
Heberling said: “I look forward to expanding our coverage in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg regions.”
Brujis said: “Being a member of the 65 Equity Partners team presents an opportunity for me, both as an investor and a firm builder, to develop the US franchise, strengthen partnerships with LPs and build an investment track record alongside my West Coast partner.”
