Asset manager WisdomTree has strengthened its European leadership with the promotion of two senior executives to newly created roles.
Adrià Beso has been appointed as head of distribution, Europe, where he will oversee sales and marketing to create a more unified, efficient, and market-focused strategy. His leadership aims to streamline resources across Europe, ensuring greater client engagement and impactful go-to-market initiatives. By integrating distribution efforts, Beso is set to optimise business development and reinforce WisdomTree’s standing as a key player in the ETF industry.
With over a decade at WisdomTree, Beso has been instrumental in developing the company’s retail channel, managing major client relationships, and leading senior sales teams. His contributions have also extended to enhancing the firm’s marketing strategies, strengthening brand visibility, and deepening investor engagement. He will continue to report to Alexis Marinof, executive vice president and head of Europe.
Reimagining asset management for 2025
Meanwhile, Pierre Debru has stepped into the role of head of research, Europe. In his expanded position, Debru will lead WisdomTree’s European research initiatives, delivering comprehensive market analysis and investment insights. His role will be integral in equipping the firm’s sales and marketing teams with high-quality, data-driven research to support informed decision-making among clients.
Since joining WisdomTree in 2019, Debru has played a critical role in growing the firm’s Ucits ETF platform beyond $6 billion in assets under management. His expertise has driven the development of new investment strategies and the expansion of WisdomTree’s model portfolio capabilities. He will report to both Marinof and Chris Gannatti, global head of research.
