Lombard Odier appoints new European sales chief

London-based investment house Lombard Odier has appointed Jonathan Clenshaw to the newly created role of head of institutional sales for Europe.

Clenshaw, who joins Lombard from Deutsche Bank Asset Management, will be responsible for distribution and client servicing for Lombard’s institutional clients in Europe.

Reporting to Carolina Minio-Paluello, Lombard’s global head of sales and solutions, Clenshaw will also be responsible for spearheading the firm’s strategy of further developing institutional client relationships in key European markets.

During a 20-year career at Deutsche Bank Clenshaw held roles in Frankfurt and London and was most recently head of UK and Ireland distribution and head of insurance in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Clenshaw previously held a variety of positions in institutional client and fixed income sales at Commerzbank and WestLB.
