Capita recruits business development head for Ireland

Capita Asset Services has hired former BNY Mellon relationship manager Andrea Lennon to head business development in Ireland.

Lennon spent the last eight years at BNY Mellon working in both relationship and business development roles.

She was responsible for managing large complex corporate and institutional clients and for generating revenues by marketing BNY Mellon’s full range of investment and asset services to managers of complex mutual funds.

At Capita, where she replaces Damian McAree, Lennon will attempt to further grow the firm’s Irish funds business. The business incorporates fund administration and a management company function for third-party independent Ucits and alternative investment fund managers.

Paul Nunan, managing director of Capita Asset Services’ fund solutions in Ireland, said Lennon’s expertise would be “invaluable” for the business.
