Candriam brings in new hires for New York office opening

Candriam Investors Group, owned by New York Life Investment management, has brought in two new hires for its recently opened office in New York.

Michael Plichta joined Candriam from alternative asset manager The Permal Group and will look after US institutional business development.

Bridget LaCroix, who was previously at private equity house Singular Guff & Company, is working in a similar role.

The office will be led by Keith Dixson, who joined Candriam as head of international development in 2015 from Cheyne Capital.

The office will serve US institutional investors with a range of the firm’s international equity and fixed income strategies, including sustainable and responsible investments, and investment solutions for insurers and pension plans.

Candriam has partnership with two other New York Life fund firms â€“ MainStay Investments and IndexIQ. The partnership offers absolute return, emerging markets equities and sustainable and responsible investments capabilities.

Candriam has just over €100 billion in assets under management, as of September 2016.
