London-based investment manager, Omni Partners, has launched its existing offshore fund, the Omni Macro Fund, in a Ucits format.
The fund will pursue thematic and tactical opportunities in liquid products, such as foreign exchange, commodities, interest rates and equity indices.
The portfolio is highly concentrated, according to the firm, and pursues up to five core trading strategies.
Stephen Rosen, chief investment officer, manages the team and is responsible for all of the investment decisions. Rosen has 17 years of financial markets experience, with the first decade of his career spent as a proprietary trader at Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan, trading macroeconomic themes across varied asset classes.
“Investors, especially those in Europe, are increasingly turning to absolute return Ucits strategies in a bid to generate returns. We therefore look forward to providing them with a strategy that has a proven track-record of success through multiple market conditions,” said Rosen.
