BlueBay appoints Luc Leclercq to COO role

BlueBay Asset Management, a specialist fixed income and alternative investments manager based in London, has appointed Luc Leclercq as chief operating officer.

Previously, Leclercq worked at, first, F&C Asset Management â€“ where he was head of operations, IT projects and clearing â€“ and then at State Street after he led the outsourcing of F&C’s middle office system to State Street’s platform.

At State Street Leclercq was senior vice president and responsible for middle office client relations with a focus on asset management.

BlueBay manages $56 billion (€41.5 billion) of assets and is owned by Royal Bank of Canada. Leclercq will also be a partner and a member of the management committee.
